The “Renegade Edition” was accompanied by a coffin/case, stand, upgraded aesthetics, and a cd containing music from Eminem and Jay-Z. How could you not want that version? I couldn’t afford the “Renegade Edition,” so I settled for the standard bundle. I got it now, ten years later (LOL).
If I’ve sparked your interest, there is some good and bad news.
The Good News…
It’s not too late to experience this game and the hard work that went into its development. With some research, I’m sure you will find everything you need on eBay or GameStop. It might be a good idea to check out your local thrift store or pawnshop for the turntable/mixer/game. Make sure it is for the correct console, and if it happens to be for a Sony Playstation 3, make sure it comes with the dongle. If you are a fan of guitar-based games, they added a few songs you can play with a friend.
Bad News…
As of writing this, we are all preparing for the 8th generation of gaming consoles. This game was released over a decade ago and requires a “working” Microsoft Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii/Wii U, or Sony Playstation 3. If you don’t already have one of these consoles stored away, this may prove to be a pricey endeavor but well worth it if you can afford it. Worst case scenario there are a few videos on Youtube showcasing the game that may encourage you to make the leap.
